Spurscast #267: First impressions

Written by Michael A. De Leon on .

On this episode of the Spurscast, our first of the 2011-12 season, Jeff and I talked about our thoughts on the San Antonio Spurs' full first week of play, including wins against the Grizzlies and Clippers and loss against the Rockets.

We went in detail on some of the newer players, rate Tiago Splitter's early progress and wonder if we'll see more from Tim Duncan later on in the season, when it counts the most.

I really like how anderson has been playing he has been aggresive toward the rim, his shooting will come.. he's a pure shooter! As for lenord he is a rookie but by the the end of the year he should be playing solid defense and tiago has changes the team defense wise he is more confident on both ends of the floor just need 1 more big. Duncan will be good as long as his defense is still there he will get more rythem with time but dejuan has been looking good very patient under the rim.
