Spurscast #253: Casspi, jet packs and more

Written by Michael A. De Leon on .

In this episode of the Spurscast, Jeff and I talk about the latest San Antonio Spurs news. While news is scarce because of the lockout and offseason, we had plenty to talk about, whether it was Tony Parker floating above water or Manu Ginobili on a carousel.

We also talked about how the lockout is affecting NBA players hoping to play overseas for their national teams at the FIBA Americas Championship, Tiago Splitter taking on a leadership role with Brazil, the Spurs looking into trading for Omri Casspi and Spurs assistant Don Newman passing on a job with the Phoenix Suns to stay with the Spurs.
