Spurscast #242: The Stretch Run
On this episode of the Spurscast, Jeff and I were joined by Humberto "Humbie" Cervera of News4WOAI.
We talked to Humbie about the San Antonio Spurs' recent skid and how their play of late will affect them in the playoffs. Humbie said the Spurs' lack of size will hurt them in a series against the Lakers, and even went on to say that he does not expect the Spurs to get past the Lakers.
In the second half of the show, we discussed the week in Spurs games and listed our positives and negatives and talked about some of the latest Spurs news.

To be honest, I don't like what Humbie has said about the Spurs all season, it's as if he doesn't believe the Spurs can win a title. Where's the faith in San Antonio? I think he should change his NBA team and go to LA.
The SIZE is not really a BIG issue. It's their ABILITY and WILLINGNESS to rebound. SPuRs' LAZY to rebound. That's their WEAKNESS. After each shot, they run faster to the other side instead. THEY need to be ready for a rebound every time they take a shot, no matter what happens.
@JeffProjectSpurs @DJ @RG8907 I do believe we have another gear Tim always shoes up and tony always hits that jumper over 53% and we havnt had a healthy manu but size is important but SA has shooters so well also create a mismatcr perimeter shooting bigs.

no disrespect to Humbie, and i don't know how many times i've said it, but i don't think that so called Lakers size is really that much of an advantage. and even though he does not expect the Spurs to past the Lakers, he should expect our guys to have a chance. that's what i think, and i think our guys can get past them.
