Note: This was originally recorded the night Bowen announced his retirement, but we decided to reschedule the release so we could dedicate all of last week to David Robinson.
Michael and Jeff talk about the retirement of a Spurs fan favorite and someone who we think will go down as a Spurs great, Bruce Bowen.
We discuss his years in San Antonio and how we enjoyed watching him lockdown the NBA's best on a nightly basis. We also talk about whether or not Bruce deserved the "dirty" tag, and if we will ever see his #12 jersey hanging in the rafters at the AT&T Center.
To finish the episode off, we discuss our favorite Bruce Bowen memories as a Spur, including the time he completely locked down and frustrated Grant Hill, who was in his prime with the Pistons at the time. We also included a full recording of Bowen's press conference about halfway through the show.
