This week in San Antonio history marked two huge milestones, as two of the four members of the "quad club" joined the elite ranks.
On February 17, 1994, San Antonio Spurs center David Robinson joined elite company in the quadruple double club. In a 115-96 win over the Detroit Pistons, Robinson finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 blocks. The NBA has not produced another quadruple double since this game.
Robinson’s frontcourt mate at the time, Dennis Rodman, had an interesting stat line as well with one point and 22 rebounds. Former Spurs forward Sean Elliott was a member of the opposing Pistons for that game.no comments
