• Parker back in shape | BFMTV (via translation)
On his recent TP Show on RMC, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker updated listeners on the status of his health. Parker said Spurs coach Gregg Popovich elected to rest him after the All-Star break since the team didn't have a heavy schedule. Parker says he is now back in shape. His rehab regiment has consisted of rest, massages and ice packs to heal any inflammation. Parker said that despite the orders to rest by Popovich, he chose to travel with the team to advise the team and his understudies, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph.
Parker said the team should finally be back to 100 percent soon, and while the Spurs have yet to play the best basketball of the season yet, they look forward to battling with the Oklahoma City Thunder for first place in the conference until the end of the season.
