Seven days ago the San Antonio Spurs had begun a sequence of five games in seven nights with a win in Denver. From there they would travel from the Rockies back down to San Antonio for a few games at home before traveling up to the East coast where they would defeat the New York Knicks by 31 points on Sunday.
Monday, with a matchup against former Spurs assistant Brett Brown and the upstart Philadelphia 76ers, the Spurs would look to win their 5th game in a row, though they would be without forward Tim Duncan who sat out of the game for rest.
Fast-forward to 48 minutes of play and the number 55 sticks out. Why, 55 stands for the number of points the Spurs have won by in the last two days as the Spurs defeated the 76ers in Philly by 24 points 109-85.no comments
