The NBA announced today that San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker was selected to his third consecutive All-Star game appearance. He'll be representing the Western Conference for the sixth time in New Orleans during the 2014 NBA All-Star game next month.
Parker will be the lone Spur in the All-Star game, as Tim Duncan was not selected for his 15th appearance.
Parker joins LaMarcus Aldridge, James Harden, Dwight Howard, Damian Lillard, Dirk Nowitzki and Chris Paul on the bench for the Western Conference.
Parker now ranks second all-time in All-Star selections for European-born players.
Parker is currently averaging 18.1 points, 6.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds for the Spurs.
