With Christmas just a little over a month away, the NBA revealed the new Christmas Day jerseys the participating teams will wear on gameday. The San Antonio Spurs in particular will be hosting the Houston Rockets that evening at 7 PM CST time in the AT&T Center.
Here are the Spurs' Christmas Day jerseys which are for sale via the NBA Store.
What are your thoughts Spurs fans?
Awful. Heinous. Nauseating. Complete disaster.
This Spurs team is composed of men, not YMCA youth leaguers. To dress them as such is an insult not only to our 3 future hall of famers, but to the prestige of the franchise as a whole. I hope that following this Christmas game, these jerseys are burned to smithereens, and never again see the light of day. And if we lose the game and our shooting is poor, someone should lose their job for going along with this cheap marketing ploy. Okay maybe not lose their job, but still.
The Spurs are too classy to play in such outright deplorable uniforms.
I honestly don't think they look bad, but I did like last year's though.
I don't hate the sleeves, but the more the league goes with putting the sleeves on more jerseys, the more the NBA players are going to look like soccer players.
it's a good thing the spurs don't have a logo that looks guady or cartoonish once you blow it up (like the bulls, for example). i can't say i like these that much, but if you look at some of the other teams' christmas versions the spurs' aren't that bad thanks to the subtle color and logo.
that being said, it seems like the league is taking everything everyone hated about last year's "creative" alternates (sleeves, only the logo and no team name, etc) and making it worse.
