Mosgov maybe less talented but he is healthy or trade with the Cav who have many bigs and get Varejao or just train Pittman who in 2 years may become a monster. Why Oden?
Low risk, high reward kind of player. Would be an ideal fit in SA where he can get tutoring from one of the greatest big men of all time and provide solid backup minutes to Splitter. Pop would ease him into the rotation to not put pressure on those knees and he would flourish in a system that depends on great ball movement and sound defense. Spurs would be deep in all positions if we manage to get him
He's WAY TOO RISKY. I'm sorry, if you are 25 years old and have the knees of a 90 year old, that is NEVER a good thing. He will not contribute significantly. I doubt he has the ability to play even 30 minutes of NBA basketball. His knees are too weak and too damaged, and at some point, it will come back and bite him in the butt. Sure he may be put in during stretches, and may contribute with limited minutes. He may have a handful of good performances during the year and may have one or two BEAST games where he plays like an all-star. But there is no way, NO WAY, not with this amount of injuries and surgeries, will he be a legit factor or threat to an opposing team. No way, no how. Sorry, get someone else. I'd rather have someone like Hollis Thompson to back up Kawhi at the SF spot, a spot we actually NEED to fill. Younger, less risk, and no fear of his knees shattering during a game.
its about damn time he hurry up and makes a decision, hes acting like he a proven superstar free agent that can take all the time in the world. you would think somebody would want to hurry up and make a decision so he can get used to the cirty and the teams medical staff and what the team wants him to work on in the offseason but not greg oden. he takes his sweet time like hes gonna be that championship difference maker lol too funny
