The San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat are the cream of the crop in the NBA this season and if things go accordingly, these two teams will be battling for the NBA crown.
Obviously, one has to favor the Heat to win it again since they are the defending champs but the Spurs could be the last team standing come June. So it is safe to say the Spurs might be the team to challenge the Heat for the crown.
Appearing on ESPN's "First Take," former Spurs guard Steve Kerr stated he likes San Antonio to give Miami their biggest challenge and right on queue, Stephen A. Smith laughed at Kerr picking the Spurs to challenge the Heat and cackled at Tiago Splitter being an x-factor in a Spurs-Heat series.
Check it out.
I like how Cari Champion said after Steve Kerr picked the San Antonio Spurs as a threat to the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals this year said you have to admit, that was definitely a trap.
That laugh wasn't as disrespectful as I thought it would be, but still, probably not the wisest action by Stephen. I really don't understand why every time he slights the Spurs, it makes news here. Can't we all just agree he doesn't know the Spurs well enough to have an opinion on them and ignore whatever comes out of his mouth moving forward?
@sa2ny2004 @projectspurs I'm sure he will really laugh when the Spurs beat the Heat in the finals.....hopefully. #Spurs
