It must have been "NBA Footwork 101" for Clippers' DeAndre Jordan during his team's recent matchup versus the San Antonio Spurs.
And Jordan's teacher was Tim Duncan.
During the second quarter, DeAndre found himself guarding Duncan and what happened was simply a lesson for the young Clippers center. TD put on a footwork show and schooled DeAndre.
Check out this absolutely glorious fundamental footwork by No. 21. It looks like there's much to learn still for Jordan.
Timmy should do these types of moves more often. These Hakeem Olajuwon/Kevin McHale moves are golden, and rarely fail. Combine that with Tim's natural skill set and footwork, and his game down low should be elevated even more. There is a reason McHale and Olajuwon boasted such high field goal percentages throughout their careers. Their moves were so effective, and it made them outstandingly efficient.
