Roy Hibbert of the Indiana Pacers was in town to work out with Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs this week.
This marks the second offseason in a row that Hibbert has sought out the expertise of the all-time great. Hibbert recently posted a photo of himself with Duncan, Tiago Splitter, Ian Mahinmi, and Jesse James Leija. The photo was taken after a boxing workout and Hibbert’s height seems to stand out exponentially.
Hibbert is officially listed as 7’2” and Duncan is listed as 6’11” according to the NBA.
Unless the angle of the picture is deceiving or Duncan is slouching, even with Hibbert holding his head up he looks like he could almost have a half of a foot advantage on Duncan according to the picture.
Either way Hibbert is a very big man who is becoming one of the better big men in the game today.
Anybody else notice how swollen hibberts elbow looks? I'm not a doctor but usually swollen elbows mean bad news
It's angle and camera distance. He's significantly heavier than the other guys, but not that much taller than the picture appears to show. Hibbert is also standing next to the shortest guy in the gym! LOL
Tim Duncan is just fine, loosing pounds makes him now quicker and a better player. Spurs fan from France!!
@wlte773 Yeah he lost all that dead weight he was carting around, how much did Amy weigh by the way?...
