Don't you get tired of seeing Tony Parker every day all year long for so many years?
If Boris stepped up and took his conditioning seriously for once in his professional career, like one Timothy Duncan does, and was more selfish with his shot-that would be a huge help to the Spurs. I like Boris' shot and he can drain the 3. Boris played very good D on LeBron and was not phased by the pressure of the Finals. If the guy was in better condition it would help his rebounding and improve his D even more. Love his IQ-just want to see him reach his potential. It's like he's been content most of his career to play at 70-75% of his potential which is sad. Come on Boris!
@gymbear @gymbear AMEN, especially that point concerning his shot aggression. As good of a passer as he is, he just seems to be a little over pass-happy at times. IE: Pulling down an offensive board and passing it back out to a guard instead of just going right back up strongly with it for a look at a high percentage two. Not that he needs to start jacking up shot willy-nilly from all over the court, but he needs to be a little more aggressive in recognizing and seizing quality scoring opportunities when they are presented.
@ryankxlu @gymbear Yeah, that grabbing a board 3 feet from the basket and kicking it out to a guard without even thinking about going back up drives me nuts. I agree: Don't want to see Boris jacking up shots. I do want to see Kawhi be a LOT more selfish, but Diaw...just a bit more. The guy can shoot and if he did shoot a bit more it would open up more opportunities for him to pass as he is so good at and loves to do. I also think, at least for me, Boris and not MB should be our stretch 4. Boris can pop that 3 when he's mentally locked in (playoffs-the time MB melts down). So maybe the three of us, in conjunction with this site, can somehow influence Boris to do all of this-and to take his conditioning seriously. Or...maybe we're just posting and he never will catch wind of our insights. There's that possibility. Probability. Certainty. Yeah-certainty is probably the better word.
