In the fourth, the Italians were outscored 26-21 but still had such a comfortable margin to hold on for the victory.
Viktor Sanikidze. whom the Spurs hold his draft rights, scored 14 points on 3-of-7 shooting for Georgia. He also collected 4 rebounds and created 2 steals.
Italy will continue its preparation for Eurobasket with a friendly exhibition against Israel on Thursday.
What pisses me off about guys like Belinelli is that they play so well in international competition and get your hopes up only to but that stink hard once they arrive and/or return to the NBA.
I know there are some good players from Atlanta, but its still not fair for a whole country to play a single state.
@autrader1it's not the state of georgia.. it's actually a country also known as georgian soviet socialist republic..
