Video: Spurs' Stephen Jackson eats fried ribs... in slow-motion
Written by Jeff Garcia on .
You would think a finely-tuned, professional NBA athlete would watch what they eat in the offseason and care for their bodies to prepare for training camp and the upcoming season. Right?
Well maybe not if you are San Antonio Spurs' Stephen Jackson.
Jackson, who recently visited family in Texas, took advantage of some home-cooking and indulged in some fried ribs. Yes, fried ribs. And if that wasn't enough to get your mouth watering, why not soak in every bite Jackson takes into the ribs in slow-motion!
Check out Jackson eating his fill of fried ribs including footage of how to make them and S-Jax wishing he could eat them in the regular season. Too bad he can't because I am sure the Spurs coaching staff would put a stop to that fast!
Let me digress. If the news is accurate, the Spurs just lost the opportunity to sign a tall, young and athletic Andray Blatche. Apparently, he was given a chance by the Brooklyn Nets to prove he can play at nba level. Now who can say he is not worthy to play in the nba? The Spurs prefer Carter, Wilkerson, Butch and Terry who have no nba history. What a pity! Perhaps, he was too expensive for the Spurs' taste who seemed too conservative in spending their $. Or, he is selfish, crazy cancerous and bad influence as one poster says but, the Nets were willing to take the chance in Blatche. Good Luck Andray. Be good!
@rtesoro440 LMAO..still with the 2 much $ theories rt? He got EXACTLY what I said he would..a NON guaranteed MINIMUM deal. Again it was NEVER about money, just as I said.
@rtesoro440 LMAO..easy to just lie and refuse to prove it rt..that's just MORE proof that you have ZERO credibility. You probably searched and searched and found NOTHING to back up yet another one of your typically moronic assertions, then just chose the weaksauce "I would not dignify your statements" avenue rather than being a MAN and admitting YOU are the liar!
I even posted that he was meeting with Avery/NJ AND that he would more likely choose NJ because he'd get more PT there
"@LiveNDie inLA @matta1 Looks like AJ is meeting with him in houston and may get him to Nets. I think it would be a terrible choice for him..too many distractions, young team, inexperienced coach. Hopefully Lucas will advise him against Nets."
"@LiveNDie inLA @matta1 Unfortunately hes more likely to get more PT in NJ than SA though, and I think that's one of his main goals"
See for yourself LIAR http://www.projectspurs.com/2012-articles/august/blatche-rumors-won-t-die.html
lol CLEARLY I'm DEEEP in your empty head if you now have to stoop to LIES in a moronic attempt to reclaim the manhood I easily took from you..LMAO
I would not even dignify your statements. You know what you said and you are a BLATANT LIAR PERIOD>
@rtesoro440 If you don't want a rep as a liar rt, show me a quote of mine saying I thought no one would take him. Otherwise, man up, and show you have at least some MICRO hangers by just admitting you were wrong FOR ONCE..lol
@rtesoro440 lol do you know what minimum means? I guess not. Makes sense since you don't know what cap means either. lol An NBA vet has to get the minimum which is based on his years playing. And not only did I NEVER say I thought Spurs WOULD sign him, I clearly gave a mountain of reasons why I thought they WOULDN'T!! And MONEY had NOTHING to do with it! And I ALSO NEVER said NO ONE would take him! Stooping to lies now that you are getting pwned every time you post? lol You are a lost cause kid
Not by the Spurs. If and when the Spurs sign somebody, it maybe less than the minimum. It still is about $. And you were wrong, a team took the risk.
