As Spurs win, team merchandise flies off the shelf

The San Antonio Spurs are off to the best start of an NBA season in their history at 4-0 and tonight they will be looking to make it five games in a row tonight versus the Clippers. And with a perfect record to start the season, San Antonio remains the lone undefeated Western Conference team and fans are taking notice of the team's hot start.

According to Fanatics.com, a leading online retailer of officially licensed sports merchandise, the Spurs have experienced the 2nd highest increase in merchandise sales this week compared to last week (10/30-11/4  vs.10/23-10/29), up a total of 91%.

They have also experienced the 5th highest increase in merchandise sales on Fanatics.com this week compared to the first week of last season (10/30/12-11/4/12 vs. 12/12/11-1/1/12), up a total of 36%. And overall, they were the 8th best-selling NBA team on Fanatics.com this week (10/30-11/4).

They say numbers don't lie and that Spurs fans are the best in the NBA so it seems the fans are doing their part to support the silver and black. Nicely done Spurs fans.

Yup. NBA store had half price on shipping to europe over the last couple of weeks. Plenty of Spurs-merchandise starved fans over here who can't buy these items in retail. Im not surprised.
