Video: Rough stretch of games ahead for Spurs

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

The San Antonio Spurs got a win last night against the Minnesota Timberwolves and will enjoy a day off. However, beginning tomorrow, the Spurs will kick off a back-to-back-to-back set of games. Six games in eight days is what is ahead of San Antonio.

Beginning this Friday, the Spurs will face the Mavericks in San Antonio, then will face the Hornets Saturday in New Orleans, and finish things off back in the AT&T Center against the 76ers. Not only that, the Spurs will get a day off after the 76ers game only to play a back-to-back against the Suns and Kings.

To say there's a lot of games coming up would be an understatement.

So what do the Spurs have to say about this stretch off games? Check out what Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili had to say about it (via woai.com).

Will TP and Bonner be playing tomorrow? If they don't the spurs will shorthanded. With more reason Mills and some big guy be signed for this contingencies. Injuries are unavoidable but could be met by adding personnel. Its taking time hiring Mills and maybe they could add Diaw for situations like the Bonner incident. Don't give reasons like Small Market, does not fit or too expensive. This alibis are irrelevant.
