Video: Mills' highlights vs. Kings show he belongs

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

The San Antonio Spurs looked down under in Australia for a guard to not only fill the void left by T.J. Ford, but to also find a player who will fit the mold of what the Spurs look for in a player and provide Tony Parker much needed rest during games.

Enter Patty Mills.

Mills has played two games for the Spurs and against the Kings, he proved San Antonio might have added another "under-the-radar" player who could help propel them to a fifth title. In two games for San Antonio, he is averaging 3.5 points off 60% shooting and against Sacramento, showed he could be a spark off the bench.

Check out his best game so far in black and silver.

Granted it was just one game, but what do you think about Mills so far Spurs fans? Think he is the real-deal?

Excited for Mills especially since his first points was a 3 pointer as a spur. He does have a nice shooting touch like Carisle said so hope he plays solid minutes and dishes out the ball while ocassionaly hitting 3s, wouldn't hurt if is slashes to the basket either but all in all happy he's a spur.

@JeffProjectSpurs  @Spat  With all the minutes being handed to those guy, I still wouldn't worry about mills not getting minutes. Pop has done a great job of getting everyone out on the court (with the exception of James Anderson). Green and Neal both tend to have their off nights a few games apart. I think Mills will still manage to pull enough action to be satisfied.
