Video: Jackson's road back to the Spurs
San Antonio Spurs' Stephen Jackson made his debut against the Dallas Mavericks recently and showed why the Spurs made the deal with the Golden State Warriors to bring him back to San Antonio.
And although it will take some time for him to get back in playing-shape and acclimate himself to the Spurs' system once again, there is no doubt the Spurs and Jackson are happy the trade was made.Check out this old interview (via woai.com) back when Jackson was with the Spurs in 2003 and spoke on his journey to the NBA.

No matter how good Jackson is, he is NOT the answer to the spurs woes. It will take a big man to sub for TD and Splitter. We have seen how the Grizzlies mangled the spurs. Kaman? Turiaf? JJHickson? Take your pick Mr. Buford. Theres an abundance of big men in the market.
