I remember thinking if any of the three was going to make an impact early on in his career it was going to be Tristan Thompson.
When I found out
At the beginning of the season,
Aside from that game, in the month of January,
Yeah, I agree with you that he's very talented and needs more minutes to develop. I fully believe the spurs will send him back to the toros once there aren't that many injured players. My thing is, cory joseph is showing way more promise than james anderson. Anderson doesn't seem to fit in well and makes dumb decisions. It seems like cory joseph has the nba smarts and better court vision compared to anderson, but just suffers from lack of minutes and rookie jitters. Now I'm ranting, but every time I see james anderson on the court, he does something dumb. And for some reason he is always trying to dunk when someone is guarding him. There is no need to be flashy, just lay it in if you don't have a clear path to the hoop! Joseph deserves more minutes than anderson, but should probably develop more in the d-league.
@JeffProjectSpurs No, I trust RC Buford. Cory just needs to learn the spurs system which the toros use. He definitely has potential and I'm glad we grabbed him before anybody else did. RC's step son plays for ut basketball and watch joseph play a lot. I believe Cory Joseph is the future for the spurs. maybe back up pg to gary once tony retires.
@aamador521 @JeffProjectSpurs Gary is almost as old as Parker and will never run the point on a regular basis in SA. Mostly because he is not a point guard. And naturally Joseph ought to have better court vision than James Anderson - he is a pass first point guard while Anderson is a guy who likes to finish plays (and generally tries to do so to often cause of limited minutes). But bottom line... We all agree; D-League ASAP!
