Video: Spurs' Mills talks Olympics
The Australian men’s basketball team lost their opening game against Brazil, 75-71. It doesn’t get any easier as the Aussies face off against Spain next.
On the bright side for Australia, and for San Antonio Spurs fans, point guard Patty Mills played very well in their first game. Mills struggled with his shot a little but showed how he uses speed and quickness to get to the rim. Mills finished with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, almost helping his team pull off a late comeback against the Brazilians.
After the game, Mills talked to The Oregonian’s John Canzano about competing in the Olympics, playing in Portland and selling his t-shirts.

Patty Mills is a pretty awesome class act dude, to say the very least. I really hope and certainly believe he ought to have an increased roll on the team this season.
