Video: De Colo shows off some fancy passing

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

Many point out flaws in the newest San Antonio Spurs guard Nando De Colo's game. Some gripe he is too slow, doesn't have much pro experience or can't shoot but no one can doubt his passing ability.

From no-look passes, ability to hit the open player for an alley-oop to threading the defense with a on-the-spot pass to a teammate, De Colo can dazzle the crowds whenever he is on the court. And during an exhibition game against Brazil, De Colo did it again.

Check out Nando doing what he does best.

So how many of you cannot wait until De Colo does this for the Spurs next season?

Hey, in De Colo's defense, the main critique of Ricky Rubio before last year was his lack of speed/athleticism. As we saw with Rubio, at the PG position, I don't think it's crucial to have blazing speed. On defense it shouldn't present a concern as long as we have bigs who can shot block (which we don't). But hey, that is the FO's problem not De Colo's

I don't know if this kid could play any defense, but he is and I know he is, a playmaker, and we can't have too many of those.

@isaacd35 I'm willing to wager he can play better D than Nash, and Nash hasnt really disappointed lol But really, I think he will be ok..can't imagine him being as bad as Neal on D either, and theres no way he isnt better at passing/dribbling than Neal
