If San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker thought the only people opposing his lawsuit of of W.i.P, a nightclub in SoHo, were the clubs owners, he apparently thought wrong.
Parker, who is no stranger to rap/hip-hop music himself is the subject of a few new verses added to a remix of The Game's Burn (h/t iamagm.com)
The Game is no stranger to dissing NBA Players with shots fired in the past to Chris Bosh, LeBron James, LeBron James again and LeBron James one more time.
Here are the specific rap lyrics, with the audio to the video further below:
"We ain't thrown' bottles, n----a, we goon' get them hammers in/
Tony Parker's suing/ Real n---as know that's that ho s---."
As was referenced above, The Game has a knack for dissing NBA players. Perhaps this is all an attempt to keep himself relevant.
I'm not sure anyone should be up in arms at Parker suing the nightclub, especially when there's been some talk about the injury being worse than originally reported. The fact Parker could have had serious damage to his eye that could have made a huge impact on his career is enough reason to sue.
I would question whether The Game would take a passive approach and not sue if serious damage had been done to his vocal chords or anything that affects his career. If he was in danger of being unable to produce another album, I have a feeling he'd be in line to sue the club right behind Parker.
first, parker was dumb to be in the club with these dueling cupcake rappers. DeLeon is right, about game trying to keep himself relevant. dropping lines about current news items is a part of hiphop. but Spurs nation, how many real ninjas you know have butterfly tats on there face, and lose rap battles to a poser who sells knock off gatoraide? now thats ho ish!!!
I know what game is saying but he would have filed a lawsuit also. Wasn't game gonna sue 50 cent for the incident at the radio station in new York. Yes real dudes don't file lawsuits because being in court around lawyers and judges is the last place a real dude wants to be.
@spursfan80 It's part of the game bro.. Parker sues the club and then once that is settled the club sues brown n drake for that plus more..
@ThisIsJayO @spursfan80 Plus I suppose you would have to be sure and have proof that one or the other were the one that hit him. I guess legally it is the safer bet to go after the establishment than rather the individuals. But from my perspective, the club really didn't do anything wrong, I don't know that it was their responsibility to know these two individuals had beef with each other. I think the blame falls on the two dickwads that wanna break bottle and throwdown in the club and potentially ruin my teams chance for a title next year...
