Video: Spurs' 'Big 3' get fans of their seats, Manu comes up a bit short

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

The San Antonio Spurs (1-0) took the series-lead against the Utah Jazz (0-1) in their opening game of the first-round of the Western Conference playoffs and the Spurs' "Big Three" of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili were able to give fans in the AT&T Center reasons to get up off their seats.

First up, TD blows past Paul Millsap for a monster dunk.

Up next is Manu going with the no-look, over the shoulder pass to Timmy for the easy bucket.

Check out Tony Parker with one crazy, circus lay up. Talk about body control.

And finally Manu comes up just a bit short for an easy lay up after getting the steal. Hey, it happens to the best of them.

Well that's how I would like to summarized about our BIG 3. Whatever they do, whether it is a shot, a pass, a dunk, a lay up, a dime and even a MISS! They always leave something special for Spurs fan to smile about. The videos above tells it all.

Go Spurs Go!!!!

There are several block shots made by the jazz on Manu but in didn't matter much, the spurs won. The spurs must tighten the defense if they want to win. It loooked more like a freewheeling game. They can't do that against the lakers or clippers.

@rtesoro440 I thought our defensive rotations were actually pretty quick and crisp.

@rtesoro440 What are you talking about? Manu got blocked once all game. Spurs held the jazz to 42% shooting, terrible 3 point shooting and held the jazz to 91 points (about 10-12 points below their average) for the game. Defense was pretty decent.

@rtesoro440 But they can vs Utah, so let them save their strength until needed. There's no point in unnecessarily wearing them out.
