Video: ESPN crew pick Spurs to win the West

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

The 2012 NBA playoff are right around the corner for the San Antonio Spurs as they will face the Utah Jazz in the opening round this Sunday in San Antonio.

But as the playoffs near, many might feel the West is a three horse race between the Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder, however, with the Spurs clinching the West's best record, the road to the NBA Finals runs through the Alamo City.

The ESPN crew of Magic Johnson, Jon Barry, Michael Wilbon and Chris Broussard recently weighed in on who they feel will win the West and surprisingly all picked the Spurs to make it to the Finals. Though Jon and Chris seem to be reluctantly picking San Antonio.

Check out the video.

OK Spurs fans time for you to chime in. What are your thoughts on the Spurs road to the NBA Finals?

Haha. Yeah, I think he's still jealous of his brother having two rings with SA.

@Emicris  @JeffProjectSpurs It isn't even that he's jealous of the rings....even tho he is.

He hates the Spurs cuz he hates Tony Parker. And he hates Tony cuz he banged Brent's wife. lol. Can you blame him tho? Shoot. Google image search Erin Barry and tell me with a straight face you wouldn't. lol. Fuh-get Jon Barry. Dude's as biased as they come.

i believe Jon was biased against the Spurs before that incident. i remember him going against the Spurs in '08 and continued from there on out, so i find it hard to believe that he was being biased against them because of Parker.

@DavidSalazar  @JMattHicks Pop and the team are hoping people are sleeping on them. They prefer to go under the radar. Agree on the health issue as well. This is the best Spurs team I've seen in years.
