Hornets' Jack probable for game vs. Spurs

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

New Orleans Hornets' Jarrett Jack is day-to-day after suffering a sore right ankle. X-rays were taken and no structural damage was found. However, after sitting out the previous game against Denver, Jack is itching to make his way back to the court and could play against the San Antonio Spurs tomorrow night in San Antonio.

"If I took this ice bag off, you'd definitely see the swelling," Jack said Thursday before the Hornets departed for San Antonio where they'll play the Spurs on Friday night. "There's some pain there, and in the back of my ankle. I'm trying to get as much treatment as much as humanly possible."

Jack has played very well versus the Spurs this season. Check out what he has done in the two meetings against San Antonio this season (via nba.com).

They should just roll over and die already. Even if they win all their upcoming games, they still wouldn't make it to the play offs. No point in rushing Jack.

@Joey The problem is its the leagues team. They are trying to show something so somebody will buy them. Funny thing is, every move the league has done with that team since taking it over has done nothing but hurt the team, the city, and the chances of selling it. From blocking the cp trade to trading him anyway, to tanking but "not tanking" they are killing the team and the fans. If they just went ahead and full on tanked they might get a #1 but they still will not have the most balls in the lotto. Had they gone ahead and not strung kaman along and just let him go they would have saved some face at least.
