Spurs' Anderson cools off on day 6 of Impact League

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

After kicking off the Vegas Impact League with a bang, San Antonio Spurs' James Anderson cooled off on day six.

Playing for Team Green, Anderson recorded eight points on 2/3 shooting, 1/3 from the three-point line, 1/2 from the free-throw line to go along with three rebounds, three assists and one steal.

For those keeping track of Anderson's stat lines here are his totals so far:

• Day 1: 19 points, 7/10 from the field
Day 2: 24 points, 11/12 from the field
Day 3: 20 points, 8/12 from the field
Day 4: 14 points, 4/5 from the field

Though Anderson cooled off, this event is still great for him to keep fresh, improve his game, and continue to rehab the foot injury which sidelined him for most of last season.

What do you have to say about Anderson's most recent performance Spurs fans?

I think the best thing for JA is that the injury seemed not bothering him anymore.

Consistency counts a lot not only in shooting but all round game. Anderson may have lessen in scores but he shown sense in other facets of the game. Hope he maintains his form. What about K. Leonard?

@rtesoro440 Leonard was only there for a couple of games. I think he was schedule to play in a different summer league.

He took 3 shots and made 2. How is that cooling off ?

With 3 assists it looks like he was trying to be more of a facilitator or he had a good defender on him? I wonder how many turnovers he had, how many minutes he played, and who he was playing with? It's possible he had some big scorers on his team so he differed. Anyways.. still good stats
