Project Spurs makes cover of San Antonio's Conexion
Recently, San Antonio Express News' Melissa Renteria of SA Cultura and Conexion caught up with Project Spurs very own Michael De Leon, Paul Garcia and Humberto "Humbie" Cervera to discuss the impact of the NBA lockout on San Antonio Spurs fans and to do a photo-shoot which pretty much sums up the feelings of all NBA fan during this lockout.
In her article "Benched & Bummed," Renteria gives a few suggestions on what Spurs fans can do to pass the time such as play video games, watch the World Series, or host a sing-a-long/dance-a-long movie night. It's a great article so please go check it out.
In the article, Humbie also weighed in on his thoughts on the lockout and which party is to blame.
"To me, the owners are the greedy ones. . .(The owners) are like, 'We screwed up our own system and now we want (the players) to fix it.' They overpaid the players and now they want it back."
