The San Antonio Spurs have lost starting point guard Tony Parker for two to four weeks due to strained left soleus in his calf muscle he suffered against the Memphis Grizzlies this past Sunday.
Manu Ginobli spoke on the loss of Parker and he says the whole dynamic of the team changes and will be looking to push the tempo more.
We can survive without Parker (for 4 weeks) but we will definitely need him in the post season to win #5.
Tony is one of the better PG in the league but I think Hill can get the job done, this injury to Parker could actually help the Spurs in the long run as he is will be fresher and healthy when the playoff arrives.
Ginobili is right, the Spurs offense will be a lot different with Tony Parker out. But I think they can adjust quickly and still win games they suppose to win. The real test will be when the paly teams like the Lakers, Mavericks, Heat and Boston.
