Memo to Neal: Get out of the way
Written by Jeff Garcia on .
The San Antonio Spurs beat the Sacramento Kings last night, clinching the number one seed in the Western Conference but once again Gary Neal was on the wrong end of a dunk and got posterized by Kings' Tyreke Evans:
This was not the first time Neal was on the wrong end of a dunk. Remember this?
I can appreciate Neal's attempt to pick up the offensive foul but I hate to see him get crushed like this, again! Hopefully the law of averages will swing in Neal's favor and he can posterize some player soon.
No wonder people thought it was Hill who got demolished by J.R. Smith; that freakin' announcer said it was George Hill.
I applaud Gary Neal for not being afraid to get in the way of players driving into the lane, but he needs to learn how to defend them better rather than just standing in front of them.
I was sitting pretty close to the Kings bench and they had a lot of fun with this one. I would have too if my night went the way theirs did.
This was Neal's first or second play of the game, and Pop took him out right after to "talk to him". I really really hope he learns his lesson soon...or starts biting ankles in the lane, either would work fine for me.
@JeffProjectSpurs Trampolines coming to the NBA? He may need one...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ouXw328WYI
