Celtics bloggers sound off on Spurs-Celtics game

Written by Michael A. De Leon on .

Spurs vs. CelticsWith tonight's big home game against the Boston Celtics, we turned to our friends from the best Celtics blog we know for their pre-game takes on the game.

Listen as Red's Army invades Project Spurs to preview and predict tonight's game while wearing their green-tinted glasses.

With a win tonight, the San Antonio Spurs can tie the season series, and it will also be the first team the Spurs see the Celtics since the Kendrick Perkins trade. The Spurs are currently 14-0 against Eastern Conference teams at home, but the Celtics have won four straight in San Antonio.

So will the guys from Red's Army go three-for-three on predicting a win for the Celtics or will one of them take the green glasses off for the five minutes they used for their recordings? Listen as John Karalis, KWAPT and Jay Ouellette from Red's Army sound off below.

Boston has SPuRs' numbers. Rondo shone last night, overshadowing Tony Parker. Garnet was left wide open most of the time. Boston knows how to set up a screen. SPuRs need to watch their rotation. I was impressed, by the way. SPuRs need NOT to rely on shooting 3s. They were good on the first half of the season and slowly disappearing. TIAGO needs to play more. This guy needs to get used to it. I know he can play. Release him, let him get loose. George needs to play more where he gets his rhythm. SIT Tony down. Put Blair back in the starting 5. He might get his groove back. TRADE Bonner! Play Steve. He's a better shooter than Matt. Get rid of RJ for realz. Where's Rasho, Fabricio and Nazr now?

well i didn't expect any of the guys to pick against the Celtics, lol, but they do make valid points though. i'm guessing they made their recordings maybe yesterday or the day before, since pretty much we know that Parker and McDyess will be playing tonight. Duncan and Ginobili are still game-time decisions, but i do suspect Ginobili will be playing tonight, and i'm hoping Duncan will be too. can't wait to go to the game tonight! GO SPURS GO!!!
