Stats of the Game: Spurs vs. Bulls

After routing their previous two opponents on the road, the San Antonio Spurs (46-10) failed to finish their rodeo trip on a high note.
Derrick Rose attacked the Spurs' defense time and again to help the Chicago Bulls beat the league leading Spurs 109-99.
Here are some of the numbers that stood out in this Spurs' loss.
85 - The Bulls made their free throws, hitting 17-20 (85%) shots from the foul line. The Spurs were not as good, making just 14-21 (66.7%) of their free throw attempts.
44 - The Bulls won the inside battle, outscoring the Spurs 44-38 on inside points.
42 - Derrick Rose torched the Spurs with a career-high 42 points and added eight assists and five rebounds.
41 - Chicago controlled the boards in a big way, out-rebounding the Spurs 41-29.
26 - Tony Parker led the Spurs with 26 points and four dimes.
24 - The Bulls shared the ball better, dishing out 24 assists compared to San Antonio's 16.
19 - Luol Deng added 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists for Chicago.

16 - Manu Ginobili had 16 points for San Antonio but only made 6-of-18 from the field. Gary Neal scored 16 points off the bench, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
15 - Carlos Boozer chipped in 15 points and six boards for the Bulls. The Spurs outscored the Bulls 15-6 on fast break points.
14 - Tim Duncan had 14 points, nine boards, three assists and one block in 33 minutes of action.
0 - Richard Jefferson and Matt Bonner did not commit a single turnover for the entire game.
Rookie Watch: Neal scored 16 points and grabbed two rebounds in 22 minutes. Tiago Splitter missed his fourth straight game because of a left hamstring injury.
