Neal, Splitter out tonight

Written by Michael A. De Leon on .

The San Antonio Spurs will be taking on Deron Williams and the New Jersey Nets tonight without two of their rookies.

Tiago Splitter, who is out with a strained left hamstring, and Gary Neal, who has mild concussive symptoms will not play tonight.

With Neal out, George Hill will get some added playing time and I wouldn't be too surprised to see James Anderson play at least 10 minutes, which will be a good test of his conditioning against NBA competition.

The game tips at 7:30 p.m. CST tonight.

More playing time for seldom used players would be great for the Spurs. James Anderson should take advantage tonight if he is given more playing time.

I expect more playing time from our bench tonight especially if the Spurs pull away early.

This could be a blessing in disguise, James Anderson should get a lot of playing tonight against the Nets.

Good point this will give more opportunity for Anderson in particular but let's hope that Splitter and Neal gets back on the court soon.

This will be a good time for James Anderson to show if his time with the Toros was worth it.

This is a chance to give more playing time to James Anderson and Steve Novak maybe just to see how he can help us.
