Video: Grizzlies' Conley not shocked about 3-1 lead

Written by Jeff Garcia on .

Who would have thought the eighth seeded Memphis Grizzlies would hold a 3-1 lead in their first round series with the first seeded San Antonio Spurs after four games.

Yet here we are, the Spurs facing elimination, while many in the NBA world are shocked on how thoroughly Memphis is beating San Antonio.

You know who isn't shocked? Grizzlies' Mike Conley:

This is a tough pill to swallow for all Spurs fans. Could tomorrow night be the end of the Spurs 2010-2011 season, and quite possibly, the end of the Spurs reign as an NBA powerhouse?

I'm sure Conley can't say this at the start of the series, he is just saying this now because they are leading 3-1 and have confidence and swagger. But he won't admit it of course.

pisses me off watching our players look like they don't want to play. it was a very frustrating moment watching tony parker fumble the ball or get picked every time he penetrated. i can handle him getting blocked, but, come on, don't fumble the ball when every 2 points is crucial. it also pisses me off watching bonner trying to guard gasol or randolph. bonner is not a defensive player. he gives the memphis grizzlies easy points in the paint by fouling them or with horrible defensive. put in splitter, gosh! he's bigger, a better defender, and can't do any worse than bonner. i still believe in my team, but it looks like our team doesn't believe in themselves...

So.... I have decided that I STILL BELIEVE... The Spurs will force a game 7 and it will be EPIC! It is time to flip the switch and send those grizzly bear cubs back to the forest of nothingness that they are!

Also... I am getting a bit tired of this Mike Conley guy... He needs to shut his mouth.... Really and truly we need to give him a hand and shut it for him when we take over this series. SPURS IN 7!
