Penney cut by the Spurs
According to nzherald.co.nz, the San Antonio Spurs have released guard Kirk Penney:
The Breakers have confirmed the Tall Blacks point guard has been cut from training camp at the San Antonio Spurs.
Penney played in one preseason game for the Spurs scoring nine points.
