In the words of Pat Travers, go for what you know. The motion offense employed by the Spurs is a thing of beauty. You don't have to be a basketball purist to appreciate what the Spurs do either. I'm just fine with the Spurs tendencies toward team oriented play over the flashy individual performance. It seems to be working pretty well.
I really enjoy the ball movement of our offense, but I think the alley-oop could be beneficial for our repertoire. It ain't a secret they get the crowd excited, and if we find ourselves down at home it could be a good way to get the energy back up from the crowd. That said, we've done pretty darn well with only 5 in the past few years... I'm gonna watch either way!
@spursfan80 There is no doubt that this does get the crowd going. Also, seeing crisp ball movement and just the chemistry on the floor really gets me going. Ally-oops are nice and I would love to see them from time to time but continuing to do what makes the Spurs successful is what I want to see.
